Superb breakfast that was definitely a highlight.

Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the damp condition of the room. The walls in our room were wet to the touch, and the persistent smell of mould was quite unpleasant. While the decor was nice, the issue of dampness overshadowed our stay.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Sleepy Puffin Guest House. The Deluxe Double Room with Garden View was spacious and filled with thoughtful touches like an electric kettle and tea facilities. Mark and Debbie really made us feel at home, going above and beyond with excellent breakfast options. Fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely surprise. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to the town center. we did notice some dampness in the room, which raised concerns about air quality. While it didn’t overshadow our overall enjoyment, it’s important for improvement. Would definitely return for the hospitality and delicious breakfast.

What a lovely experience! Mark and Debbie's hospitality was genuine and warm. The Deluxe King Room was spacious and newly decorated, while breakfast was outstanding, featuring a variety of hot dishes. They truly went above and beyond, reserving a special seat for my wife’s birthday. Will definitely return for another delightful stay!

The Beautiful Double or Twin Room had a lovely garden view, giving a nice touch to the otherwise cozy accommodations. The fridge stocked with fresh milk was a nice surprise, making tea time even better.

The room's condition raised some concerns. Penetrating damp made some walls wet to the touch, and attempts to cover it with paint and PVC did little to mask the persistent smell of mold. The parking arrangements left something to be desired, especially since the private parking details weren't communicated clearly, leading to some worry about parking fines.

I had an amazing stay, with Mark’s breakfasts being incredibly varied and delicious! The attention to detail in the room was impressive. I loved having secure parking right across the road. The bed was a bit uncomfortable at times, but overall, I would definitely come back!

Great flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, but off-site car park was inconvenient.

We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with Shower for 3 nights. Super comfy bed and the room was spacious, which was great. It had a fridge for fresh milk – so handy! The bathroom was nice size, and everything was spotlessly clean. Plus, Deb and Mark were super attentive, making the whole stay feel special. They even decorated the room for a birthday! Can’t recommend the breakfasts enough, they were absolutely delicious!

sleepy puffin guest house is a charming place to stay. our room was lovely and clean, stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuits. breakfast was delicious, and they catered well for vegetarians. it's just a stone's throw from the beach and the centre. mark and debbie were outstanding hosts, always ready to help with any questions.

We loved our stay at Sleepy Puffin Guest House. We booked the standard double room which was cosy and comfortable, equipped with good facilities and plenty of tea and coffee. Mark and Debbie were absolutely lovely hosts, making us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the excellent breakfast each morning!

Spacious room, fantastic hosts, our stay felt special with personalized touches such as a reserved window seat for breakfast and thoughtful birthday surprises. The added convenience of free Wi-Fi in public areas and a location that's easy to explore.
